LOWO CAVE

The meaning of ‘Lowo’ is ‘Bat’, so this cave is also called Bat cave. The cave is dwelt by many bats, that’s why it called Lowo Cave. This cave is located between mining of Gresik cement border, about 20 km of congestion sign.

Lowo cave is located in Pongangan village, Manyar district. The road to the cave (500 m) is not asphalted yet.
This cave is still original and natural cave with its interesting bats can attract many tourists. They can take pictures; see the bats, and other activities. They also allowed having some research here. So, don’t doubt to visit Lowo cave in Gresik regency.
